In the 2019 UK election the Conservatives achieved a majority of 78 seats in Parliament to form a majority government.

There was an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 on the Richter scale in Taunton and Yeovil, Somerset at 10.49pm on 6th December 2019.
It consisted of one boom and shake. A resident described it as being like a slammed door or a very sudden gust of strong wind.
Eathquakes of this magnitude occur in the UK once every few years.
A recent stronger earthquake was in Cwmllynvfell, Wales February 2018, magnitude 4.6 (src BGS.ac.uk)
